As we are launching our delicious ELECTRIC ROSE GIN, we thought it would be a great idea to share with you our EXCEPTIONAL G&T serve along with some easy summer cocktail serve to make at home for friends and family.
For a couple of the drinks you will need a cocktail shaker and strainer, but for the rest they are easily built within the glass you are serving them, making them the ultimate summer garden party cocktails!
THE ELECTRIC G&T
The electric G&T is our perfect serve. Simple and easy to make yet fully delicious. You will need a highball glass full to the brim with ice (Don't skimp on the ICE as this is what will keep you drink chilled and refreshing). Then build over ice:
50ml Electric Rose Gin
150ml Premium Tonic Water (classic)
Give the spirit a gentle lift with a spoon to ensure the gin is not sat on the bottom of the glass.
Then garnish with a fresh Grapefruit Zest to compliment and balance them floral aromas.
THE TURKISH SOUR
This is a simple Gin sour recipe but by replacing London Dry Gin with our Electric rose we are creating a gentle Turkish delight expression tot he sour, as when mixed with a little sugar and lemon juice it is reminiscent of Turkish delight.
50ml Electric Rose Gin
25ml Fresh Squeezed Lemon Juice
20ml Simple Syrup (1:1 sugar and water)
1 egg white OR Aquafaba (Chickpea water)
Place all ingredients into your cocktail shaker and shake hard without ice (Dry Shake), this is to foam up the egg white or Aquafaba (harder the shake, the better your foam will be). Then add ice and shake hard again to chill and dilute your ingredients. You will then fine strain to remove any shards of ice into a chilled martini coupe ready to drink.
THE ELECTRIC SPRITZ
Summer is not summer without a spritz! So reach for the large wine glass, fill it to the brim with ice and build the following ingredients into your glass.
35ml Electric Rose Gin
25ml Elderflower Cordial
15ml Fresh Lemon Squeezed Lemon Juice
Top with Prosecco / Sparkling wine / Fizz or soda
Garnish with a luscious fresh wedge of pink grapefruit and enjoy your electric spritz.
THE MISS MONEY-PENNY MARTINI
We designed the electric rose gin to drink like a dry! The reason bering is we wanted it to be bartender and cocktail friendly, and work in classic and modern cocktails. The Miss Money-Penny Martini is pink, floral, herbaceous and an all out serious martini for those with an inquisitive mind. Build all the ingredients in a mixing glass or in your cocktail shake BUT DO NOT SHAKE, this drink is stirred to perfection. Ensuring the drink is chilled and diluted just right!
65ml Electric Rose Gin
12.5ml Dry Vermouth
5ml Simple Syrup (1:1)
Stir down until it is chilled and diluted just right and then serve straight up in a chilled martini coup with no garnish. This is the Exceptional Summer night cap for those who love their gin martinis!
