Our FIRST and LOCAL retailer: "Latitude Wine & Liquor Merchant" of Leeds has crowned us their most popular gin of 2021.
Latitude Wine and Liquor Merchant was our very first supplier and was naturally our first choice. Being Local & Independent with an amazing reputation for having awesome, friendly and knowledgable staff, it was certainly a merchant we really wanted to work with.
We nervously went down to pitch for the first time EVER with our new gin & new brand back in April 2021. They very kindly listened intently to what we had to say about our spirit and made the decision to take a punt on us! WE COULDN’T BELIEVE IT! We were over the moon that we landed our first supplier, and most of all the supplier we wanted!
The funny thing was when we stocked the shelf and nervously asked if we could take our picture in front of our bottle as we were so so proud, they chuckled and said YES, because every new small brand has stood in that exact same spot and took the EXACT same picture! - Im glad we took the pics, not only to document that very moment, but because we could then make this video to share with you! Latitude wine have also become an integral part of our supply chain as they ALSO supply us all their waste and used wine boxes (cases of 6) which we Re-use for sending out cases all across the country! In the 10 months we have existed we have never bought a box! We have recycled - Up cycled and used other brands waste.
Our first delivery to Latitude as you will see in the video, we are using an up cycled Amazon delivery box. One persons rubbish is another persons gold! Thank you Latitude for getting behind us, supporting us, imparting advice, spreading the good word of John Robert's Botanic Request and most of all hoarding all the waste Boxes for us.
Another true testament of when EXCEPTIONAL people come together, great things can happen!
